Good news and bad news here, boys and girls. The good news is that the update being pushed out to the Droid Eris can be applied manually. The bad news is that what we have is a full-on ROM flash and not a mere update, so your phone will be reset to zero. For some of us, not a big deal. For others, a huge deal. Anyhoo, join us after the break and we'll show you how it's done. &lt...

If you have a custom ROM on your VGA device that includes the Touch Pro2 (Rhodium) version of TouchFLO3D, then there's a nice tweak from XDA Developers that will hide the bottom button bar just like in Landscape. Make sure to backup first! Download the cab and install it to your device followed by a soft reset. When loading, you will notice some more screen real estate together with a cool ne...

Nokia 5800 App Review: PocketSensor Automatic Keylock I really wonder why Nokia did not think of providing a touch based lock/unlock feature in Nokia 5800. There are some third party applications though which make it possible to lock/unlock your phone the Iphone way but that is mostly flash based and puts a lot of stress on the already depleted phone resources like RAM and battery. PocketSensor Automatic Keylock is a nice application to have on your ...

HTC Mega ROM with TouchFLO 2D 2.0 UI Leaked How do you like it? The actual ROM of the unannounced HTC Mega has been leaked at XDA site. What’s so special about it? Well, this ROM contains the HTC’s latest TouchFLO 2D 2.0 UI. It  looks very similar to the TouchFLO 3D, just lacks all that “3D” stuff.
