The N900, like the N97, has a homescreen which you can customize with LIVE widgets , contacts, bookmarks and app shortcuts. However, unlike the N97, the N900: has 4 homescreens (effectively making 1 big panoramic homescreen) the widgets/shortcuts are not locked into any specific position (like previous tablets)- customizing is very easy delete, add, drag widgets
