N97 firmware v21.0.045 has been released and now available over Nokia Software Updater. To update, plug your N97 in to your PC and launch Nokia Software Updater and then start updating. Firmware size is around 138 MB so please make sure that you have good enough internet connection. Unfornately that N97 firmware update is still not available on OTA update.

We have confirmation that tomorrow, July 1st, Nokia will be releasing the first firmware update for the recently released N97 NAM. The software will be available OTA via the Nokia Software Updater. No word on what exactly will be changed in this release, but you're welcome to find it out for yourself. Hopefully it includes the kickass LL Cool J startup screen you see on the pic....
