Purplera1n supports Mac OS X, too
A few days ago we learned that GeoHot recently released an update for purplera1n, his iPhone jailbreaking solution, that would add both Windows 7 and 64-bit support. However, Mac OS X users were left in the dust with no alternative. Luckily, GeoHot has again updated purplera1n this time adding that much sought after Mac OS X

Just days ago, iPhone hacker extraordinaire geohot released blackra1n, a tool for jailbreaking the iPod Touches and iPhones (including the 3GS) running OS 3.1.2. Alas, it was only available for Windows users. Just two days later, geohot and the rest of the endlessly impressive iPhone hacking community have it all up and running on OS X.
