I meant to right about this when the price drops first occurred on July 1st but I was busy setting up a new feature for the site, more on this in the coming days.  As you can see from the image about the HTC Magic and HTC Dream, which were released on Rogers Wireless at

Rogers Wireless cuts prices of HTC Dream, HTC Magic to $99.99 Despite being released in Canada only recently, Rogers Wireless has announced that they will be lowering the prices of both the HTC Dream and HTC Magic to $99.99. Of course, you’ll have to opt for a 3-year contract before you get the lowered price but $99.99 for an Android phone? Count me in. Hell, after seeing that

Chalk this up to poor sales, or thoughtful execs looking to save the consumer a few bucks (I’ll take poor sales)… The HTC Magic and HTC Dream have dropped in price yet again on Rogers (NYSE: RCI). Currently both device will run you $79.99 on a 3-year term. I suppose this could also be a

It's been just over a month since Rogers started selling Android phones and the prices are coming down already. Both the HTC Magic and HTC Dream can be picked up for only $99 with a new three year contract. The first though to cross my mind is that a price drop like this is great for android and for consumers. But after taking a step back an assessing the situation, there might be something b...

Rogers Drop Price of HTC Magic & HTC Dream to $99.99   The Revolution came to Rogers only a month ago, with the Canadian launch of both the HTC Dream and HTC Magic, and joining the Revolution now has already become more affordable--Rogers just announced that they'll be dropping the price of both the HTC Magic and HTC Dream to a mere $99.99 (new 3-year contract applies). This is a wonderful price to jump to Android with but one can't h...

Rogers Cuts HTC Dream and HTC Magic to $99.99 on Contract Rogers has done a little price-chopping on the HTC Dream and Magic… much sooner than I ever could have guessed. The Rogers HTC Dream and HTC Magic can now be picked up for only $99.99 on a 3-year contract, a drop of $50 from the original $149.99 price tag. Is this a sign of weak sales

Rogers' Dream Users Can Upgrade to Magic for Free HTC Dream and HTC Magic are the first mobile phones from HTC that arrived on the market with Google's Android operating system on board, and both of them were launched at the same time in Canada via Rogers Wireless. As soon as Android 2.1 made it into the wild, the mobile phone operator announced that only Magic would be updated to the new platform version, leaving Dream users only with Andro...

It was not all that long ago (the beginning of July) when we last saw Rogers lowering the price of the HTC Dream and HTC Magic and now they have done it once again. Effective immediately, the new pricing for both the Dream and Magic is now $79.99. Of course that is the on-contract price, which

Rogers Drop Price of HTC Magic & HTC Dream to $79.99   Now this is what we like to see Canada!. After Rogers had dropped the price of the HTC Magic and HTC Dream down to $99.99, they're at it again! Rogers just recently dropped the price AGAIN to an even more affordable $79.99 (with 3 year contract). We're hoping the price drop is a sign that newer Android devices are coming (HTC Hero anyone?) and not indicative of poor sales. At $79....
