Despite being released in Canada only recently, Rogers Wireless has announced that they will be lowering the prices of both the HTC Dream and HTC Magic to $99.99. Of course, you’ll have to opt for a 3-year contract before you get the lowered price but $99.99 for an Android phone? Count me in. Hell, after seeing that

Rogers Drop Price of HTC Magic & HTC Dream to $79.99   Now this is what we like to see Canada!. After Rogers had dropped the price of the HTC Magic and HTC Dream down to $99.99, they're at it again! Rogers just recently dropped the price AGAIN to an even more affordable $79.99 (with 3 year contract). We're hoping the price drop is a sign that newer Android devices are coming (HTC Hero anyone?) and not indicative of poor sales. At $79....

Rogers' Dream Users Can Upgrade to Magic for Free HTC Dream and HTC Magic are the first mobile phones from HTC that arrived on the market with Google's Android operating system on board, and both of them were launched at the same time in Canada via Rogers Wireless. As soon as Android 2.1 made it into the wild, the mobile phone operator announced that only Magic would be updated to the new platform version, leaving Dream users only with Andro...

It's been just over a month since Rogers started selling Android phones and the prices are coming down already. Both the HTC Magic and HTC Dream can be picked up for only $99 with a new three year contract. The first though to cross my mind is that a price drop like this is great for android and for consumers. But after taking a step back an assessing the situation, there might be something b...

HTC Dream and Magic, $99.99 on Rogers Mobile phone users in Canada who would like to purchase an Android handset from Rogers will probably rejoice at learning that the company has dropped the prices of both HTC Dream and HTC Magic to $99.99 on a 3-year contract. The two mobile phones reached the carrier only a few weeks ago, yet it seems that their performance is rather poor, which determined Rog...
