A new Apple iPhone handwriting recognition application is available. This type of software has been available on Windows Mobile phones for a while now, so it's about time Apple gets it's own program. It's actually a pretty neat application, and best of all - it works! The new iPhone handwriting recognition application was created by a Chinese developer, so it

Too bad Apple has not found a disitributor for the iPhone in Chinese, because someone at wretch.cc has just posted screen shots of what, for all intents and purposes, is a killer app for the Chinese market. The application should come with iPhone 2.0 and includes Japanese support but without the handwriting recognition. This is

With the iPhone's on-screen keyboard providing more than enough speed and convenience for everyday text input, why would anyone want to bring handwriting recognition to the iPhone? Actually, HWPen was developed by Hanwang.com.cn in an effort to make Chinese text entry a bit easier (what with all those thousands of characters in the Chinese language).

Something tells me Rob will be checking this out with his iPhone today. A Chinese developer has releaed handwriting recognition for the iPhone. It is supposedly similar to Graffiti, and has both Latin and Chinese alphabets. For the looks of it, you do need to use your finger, which I’m not sure is a promising attack on adding this to the iPhone. It is in beta though, so we’ll see how t
