 nice hard case, if only it would close June 13, 2008

the aluminum case offers good protection and the metal circle on the back for clipping to a belt is nice. The only problem is that it uses a very cheesy clasp, that is just a curved piece of metal and a bump AND IT WON't CLOSE! As soon as I shut, it it pops back open again. Very disppointing! If its empty it'll close. I think the hardcase didn't account for the thin foam pad they put in it, so the pad plus the ipod is too thick for it to shut. I was too lazy to return it in time, so now I just use rubberbands to keep it shut. Maybe they should include some for free when you buy one of these "almost" well designed cases.

we bought this for our son for christmas, and he loved it. we liked the cool look and the great protection for his ipod.
