Customer Reviews:
5 out of 5 stars I know I am the First but its an honest review....   July 30, 2008

They always say never trust the first and or last reviews on Amazon because they are usually the vendors---yadda yadda!!! I dont quite believe this but I would like to rate the item with the utmost of honesty.

The product is well manufactured and comes with everything you need to protect your investment in a 3g iphone. I will make it simple...pros and cons and then my thoughts.

Pros:
Silicon Insert and Plastic casing make this like no other.
Made for the iPhone 3g as advertised.
Looks GREAT!
Mold on silicon and plastic has perfect cutouts, coverings for all buttons.

Cons:
Once the phone is inserted into silicon - fitting it back into plastic case is tricky since it bends/stretches the silicon - very hard to get it right..but it adjusts after a few days.

Makes the iPhone a bit bulkier - which is expected since you are adding two layers of protection.

Thoughts:

As you can see - the protective nature of this item makes it something you may want to try. I like the fact that it includes silicon cover and plastic acrylic casing. I hate the fact that inserting the silicon cover stretches/bends it in weird ways...I had to do it 3-4 times before I was satisfied. The protection is superior here --- the tight fitting of the silicon into the acrylic makes it a solid feeling case.

I bought black/smoke for a black iphone 3g which looks great.

I am impressed enough with it to give it 4 stars+ but I would have liked a better solution for inserting the silicon covered iphone into the acrylic.

Also do yourself a favor and buy some sort of screen protector for the iphone....apple sells anti-glare covers which are a must buy. 2 pack is 14.99 at apple stores or on apple.com.... Not related to above review..but an additional requirement for me.

Hope this helps.

(UPDATE)

I have dropped the iphone 3g about 4 times since this review. This CASE does its job...it protected the iPhone perfectly..... I take back the negatives and am now focusing only on the positives... Get one.

First Looks: Incipio Q and MicroTexture Cases for iPhone 3G/3GS + iPod touch
Though they might look a little unusual, Incipio's latest two iPhone 3G/3GS and iPod touch cases are actually both pretty cool. Q ($TBD) is a dual layer silicone rubber design based on the company's earlier Honu, but with a more appealing integration of the layers: one layer is the thin base and shows through the second layer, a thicker and contrasting color with pill-shaped holes. By co...
