As well as the extraordinarily long Toshiba G910 review I did the other day, I also recorded a video of the G910 browsing the Web. You can see how it's not the best experience in the world, and also how fiddly the interface is to use. Note: it's a ten minute video, and my

Hands-on Toshiba Portege G910 Review The Toshiba Portege G910 I'm reviewing is a Windows Mobile-based smartphone with a list of features as long as your arm. The G910 is a designer smartphone that Toshiba are pitching as a mini-laptop. With HSPDA, Wi-Fi, GPS and a plethora of other goodies, not to mention a full-QWERTY keyboard inside and good

This is an interesting device. It has a wide clamshell design that has a tilting screen inside. The 3" primary display sports WVGA resolution which is 800x480 pixels - the highest that Windows Mobile supports. The only other devices that have this resolution is the Toshiba G900, and the upcoming Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1. It has a secondary OLED display that shows caller ID, time, and other system i

Nokia E90 fans might want to note that the latest Smartphones Show, no. 60, includes a hands-on review with the Toshiba Portege G910, gunning for exactly the same target market with a fairly similar form factor. There's also my thoughts on the iPhone 3G and a mini-rant on phone contracts.
