Motorola unleashes the MOTOSURF A3100 This year’s CES saw the announcement of Motorola’s long-awaited A3100 PocketPC phone. Unsurprisingly, Motorola deployed an UI of its own: this is not exactly good news for developers, who now have to fight one more user interface system. Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 review: A new experience There's a lot to fall for in Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1. Possibly the hottest looker of a PocketPC is also heavy on skill. According to ConsumerReports, the Samsung BlackJack II WMS is the best smartphone currently on the market. The Motorola Q9c took the third place, the BlackBErry Pearl Flip was #5 - #4 was the T-Mobile Shadow, and #2 went to the T-Mobile Wing. So far, Acer has not been too big a player in the handheld computing space: they had a few cheap PocketPC’s which sold well about 2 years ago, but that was that excerpt for their Ferrari GPS devices. And let’s not forget their rotten customer care… Anyways: when Asus announced plans to flood the market with
