With the more popular Palm Centro making more significant headway in Verizon's Palm OS-powered smartphone portfolio, the No. 2 US wireless carrier has announced that the recently launched Palm Treo 755p has met its end-of-life. The Palm Treo 755p was only launched on Verizon a few months back, and it seems that Verizon is already

What better way to keep that aging smartphone from feeling a little less "wise" in years, especially when compared with the new wave of smartphone hotness slated to drop in the coming months, than to give it a quick firmware update? To be fair, the Palm Treo 755p isn't exactly old, but the Palm handset's

Palm Treo 755p from Verizon has got a firmware update. Unfortunately, there's no info about it, only a phrase on the support page saying that this build "improves the phone application, stability and device usability." Over the past few months I have noticed an increasing number of our site members are actually ex-Treo Users who have made the switch to BlackBerry. The article that follows details one man's experiences of making the switch from a Palm Treo 755p to a BlackBerry 8830 and his battles and observations along the way. Sprint Palm Treo 755p owners will be glad to hear that there's a new firmware update available for their buggy handset. Reportedly, the new ROM v1.07 should improve "audio, stability, software quality and device usability", however there are no concrete update details published at this time, unfortunately. Anyway, MS Windows users can flash their device over HotSync or SD-card insta...
