Just a few days ago, a Russian site reviewed the upcoming Asus Galaxy 7, which is being touted as an "Omnia killer." Well, PDAdb.net has uploaded a full spec sheet. We learn that the Galaxy 7 is running on the same Qualcomm CPU as the XPERIA X1, at a 528MHz clock speed (the Omnia uses a Marvell chip running at 624MHz). It comes with 4GB of storage ROM (much less than the Omnia's 8GB and 16GB)...

Well, maybe not this galaxy as other devices like the BlackBerry and Sidekicks of yore had them, but to the Asus Galaxy 7. You can read all about the WVGA device, which can compete with the Touch HD on PDAdb.net. The main draw: big beautiful screen, trackball, Glide UI, and touch-sensitive buttons. The new Glide UI looks nice, almost like the Bell UI. WMPowerUser is reporting that the quality is c...

Did I miss the memo on this? I was pretty sure that Sony Ericsson made the hardware on the XPERIA X1 - but, turns out, it's HTC, again (phew - they're everywhere!). Not only does the X1 have the HTC task manager, but it's listed on PDAdb.net and XDA-Developers as the HTC Venus. Comments

PDAdb.net has just completed research on the T-Mobile G1 and have uploaded a detailed spec sheet. The G1 packs the same Qualcomm 528MHz CPU found on the new HTC Touch devices (Diamond, Pro, and HD). In terms of memory, it has 256MB ROM and 192MB RAM, and adds microSD expansion. It's got the GSM850 band meaning that if someone figures out how to unlock the G1, people on AT&T will be able t...

Today we got word of HTC's awe-inspiring, drool-inducing, and oh-so-high-resolution Touch HD. We also noted how this is HTC's strongest attempt at creating an iPhone 3G competitor. We just spotted some dimensions over on PDAdb.net, so we thought it would be fun to compare the iPhone, iPhone 3G, and HTC Touch HD (plus Samsung Omnia, for good measure). The result? Holy moly - in almost eve...

I spotted this over at PDAdb.net. The GSmart MS820 may be a good alternative to the Diamond if it has a lower price and good software enhancements when released later this summer. It has a 2.8" VGA screen and an Intel XScale 520MHz processor with 128MB RAM and 256MB ROM. It is a quadband GSM phone (and will thus work in the US) with HSDPA, plus WiFi, GPS and FM radio. What's unique about the MS820

"PDAdb has posted the specs of Toshiba Portege G910 and G920 (not yet officially announced). We've recently mentioned that the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) approved the devices. The FCC site hasn't posted little info, however due to the leakage we've got almost full specs. But the sources didn't explain the difference between two models. This time PDAdb gives us the idea of it. T
