Sprint promised a little while ago that they were going to provide a software update for customers who have either a HTC Hero or a Samsung Moment. A report over on news.softpedia.com says that the update which was namely the Android 2.1 still seems a way off before Sprint will actually deliver the solution. Rumours

It appears as if Sprint has realized that certain customers may see the difference in Android 1.5 and Android 2.1. This of course most likely comes because of the recent Nexus One announcement.
